QotD: Neurotic Behavior

I have to confess I swear at inanimate objects that bleep at me. You know the thing. Fridges the bleep to re-mind you that you just opened the fridge door in case you did not realize you just opened the door and Washing Machines that bleep not just once not just three times but repeatedly whilst you are otherwise engaged just to let you know the wash cycle has finished. Well, I set it on an hour wash so I know when it's gonna finish and it does not need to beep every 3 seconds to remind me the cycle is over. I detest those bleeps and have often screamed abuse in their general direction which is fine when i am alone but visitors have raised their eyebrow's at me from time to time. Still, most of my visitors talk to the TV and shout louder to be heard by footballers in Brazil, so hey - who's the neurotic one around here?
